Appearance: white crystalline powder or crystalline solid. It is hygroscopic. When heated to 100℃, it will contain one molecule of crystal water, and when it is 380℃, it will become anhydrous. Easily soluble in water (the solubility in water at 18°C is 52g/100g), insoluble in ethanol, and the aqueous solution is acidic to litmus.
Uses: Catalyst carrier. Amino acid and protein precipitation agent. Used as a decolorizing agent for cod liver oil, precipitation and isolation of amino acids (such as glutamic acid), etc.; used as a white leather tanning agent to make the leather surface delicate, rich and elastic, and can be used as a lubricant, catalyst carrier, etc.
Used for retanning of chrome tanned leather. It can be used with sulfone bridge type synthetic tanning agent instead of tannin to tan shoe lining leather, furniture leather and bottom leather. The finished products have fine pores, plump and elasticity. And has good filling and abrasion resistance.
Packing: 25, 50/kg, 1000kg/ton bag in woven bag, 25, 50kg/barrel in cardboard drum.
