Application of Cerium Nitrate
1. Cerium nitrate is used in the manufacturing of ternary catalysts, gas lamp covers, tungsten molybdenum electrodes, hard alloy additives, ceramic components, pharmaceuticals, chemical reagents and other industries.
2. Cerium nitrate can be used as catalyst for phosphate ester hydrolysis, steam lamp shade, optical glass, etc.
3. Cerium nitrate can be used as an additive for steam lampshades and a catalyst for the petrochemical industry. It is the raw material for producing cerium salts. Analytical chemistry is used as an analytical reagent and also in the pharmaceutical industry.

Production method of cerium nitrate:
The nitric acid method hydrolyzes an acidic solution of rare earth hydroxide rich in cerium, dissolves it with nitric acid, and in the presence of oxalic acid or hydrogen peroxide, reduces 4 valent cerium to 3 valent cerium. After crystallization and separation, the cerium nitrate product is prepared.
