TaC=192.96, including carbon 6.224%, for brown solid powder, hard, but the nature is heavy, has the very high chemical stability and the good high temperature performance. The density is 14.5g/cm3, the melting point:3875℃, boiling point:5500℃. The tantalum carbide attritive powder is one important cermet material.

Application

Cutting tool, the steel-making industry and the tungsten base hard alloy’s grain refining medicinal preparation, can enhance the alloy performance obviously.
