 Application: 

It is widely used in flooring, fireproofing, fire extinguishing compositions, cosmetics, dusting powder, and toothpaste. Other applications are as filler material, smoke suppressant in plastics, reinforcing agent in neoprene rubber, drying agent, laxative to loosen the bowels, and color retention in foods.
